Background and Discussion:
The wastewater from Spring Camp and Klein Park is currently pumped to an existing On-Site Sewage Facility. Sander Engineering Corporation is tasked with providing design, bid, and construction phase services for the design and construction of a lift station and force main to eliminate the On-Site Sewage Facility and send the wastewater to Bridgestone Municipal Utility District.

Expected Impact:
This project will reduce maintenance costs for the Precinct as well as prevent potential environmental hazards caused by an aging On-Site Sewage Facility.

Alternative Options:
If the agreement is not approved, the Precinct may decide to not move forward with the project and will continue to incur increased maintenance costs. If the project moves forward and is designed in-house, Harris County Engineering Department would have to increase staffing to perform and execute the work, which could cause delays.
