Background and Discussion: The project section of Mound Road is a 4-lane, median-divided concrete roadway extended from Greenhouse Road and transitioning to 2-lane concrete and asphalt roadway terminating at the end of Cypress Drive/entrance of Hotwells Shooting Range, Cypress Texas.
Expected Impact: Awarding the lowest bidder will allow the County to proceed with the construction of Mound Road, addressing issues of land lock and improve traffic in the area.
Alternative Options: Court may elect to not award the lowest bidder, and HCED can explore additional options, however this will cause project delays.
