Background and Discussion:
This project is Batch 3 of Maintenance Protects on Cypress Creek and its Tributaries; this batch covers twelve (12) sites and construction is approximately 82% complete and expected to be completed by mid-2024.
The purpose of this change order is to reconcile pay items across eight (8) project sites to address changes in field conditions, and to extend the time of completion due to inclement weather.

Expected Impact:
This change will allow for additional days to complete the project to realize flood risk reduction benefits.

Alternative Options:
This is an active construction contract, so there are not many alternatives to approving a change order other than canceling the contract which is not recommended as doing so would substantially delay the remaining work in the construction contract.
