Background and Discussion:
The Commissioner's Court renovation consists of relocating the court from the 9th floor of the Administration Building to the 1st floor. Scope included a supporting pre-function lobby, enhanced security, conference rooms, private restrooms, and A/V hardware to accommodate the functions of the court.
This change in contract, which results in a net deduction, reconciles the state of the project as it stands in its closing stages. This change in contract is comprised of: added cost of HVAC Testing & Balancing not captured under the original scope of the project, cost of General Conditions to the contractor for days added to the original contractual duration, & a deduction of the cost of proposed Ballistic Glass protection from The Gonzalez Group, LP.'s contract awarded in a previous change order.
