Background and Discussion:
The Fallbrook, Ridgepoint, Westpoint project area is in the Halls Bayou Watershed, a tributary of Greens Bayou. These subdivisions were constructed in different timelines, Fallbrook in early 1970's, Ridgepoint in early 1980's and Westpoint in early 2000's. The existing drainage system was designed based on the current design criteria and design rainfall. The drainage system in the project area consists of inlets and storm sewers that eventually outfall into HCFCD channel (P118-31-00) which eventually drains into Halls Bayou (P118-00-00). The original scope of work for this project consists of improvements such as widening the P118-31-00 channel, upsizing storm sewer, replacing inlets and pavement as needed to accommodate for the increased conveyance in the Fallbrook subdivision.
