Background and Discussion:

Additional property is required for the construction of the Northbound bridge over the ship channel. With the addition of the Shared Used Path (SUP) the ROW and TCE requirements have been updated and finalized to show the additional needs.

 

Expected Impact:

The Ship Channel Bridge Program is a capacity improvement project for the Eastern segment of the Sam Houston Tollway in Harris County, Texas. The Program will be replacing the existing multi-span segmental concrete box girder main bridge and prestressed concrete girder approach spans constructed in 1982. The program will construct both SB and NB cable-stayed structures and both Northbound and Southbound approaches, as well as removal of the existing bridge.
