Background and Discussion:
On December 14, 2021, Commissioners Court approved an agreement between Harris County and SEARCH Homeless Services for the FY2020 Northline SRO CoC Grant to provide supportive services for up to 53 formerly chronically homeless, disabled scattered site housing program participants. The amendment will allow SEARCH Homeless Services to provide supportive services to an additional seven formerly chronically homeless, disabled participants for a total of 60 participants.
Expected Impact:
The amendment will add $62,314.00 for a total of $218,103.00 in FY20 CoC funds. The project expense fits within the existing grant allocation and does not lead to cost savings in the future.
Alternative Options:
No other funding is available to cover the provision of supportive services to this population.
