Request for approval to renew an Interlocal agreement with Waller Independent School District for a nine month period of November 1, 2021 through July 31, 2022. This renewal agreement is for one Youth Services Specialist to provide services that are currently not available through the district. The District agrees to reimburse the County an annual standard fee of $31,003.47 per Youth Service Specialist which represents one-half of the total personnel and mileage cost for one position for a nine month period.

Background and Discussion: Harris County Resources for Children and Adults - Community Youth Services "CYS" Program provides voluntary services to students and families who are in crisis, within 14 surrounding school districts in Harris County. CYS provides direct services and referrals to youth and families that are not available through the District. The districts reimburse Harris County for 50% of the cost of each position. HCRCA has had this agreement with Waller for over 30 years.
