Request by the District Attorney for authorization to accept an amendment to an agreement with the Office of the Governor/Criminal Justice Division to extend the grant end date to June 30, 2021 for the FY 2020 Project 180 Program.

Background and Discussion:
This will be an extension to 6/30/21 for a grant originally accepted by Commissioners Court on 12/3/19 to continue the Project 180 program, a pre-trial diversion program for defendants charged with selling prostitution and also redoubling efforts to shut down and reinforce prosecution of buyers, traffickers and pimps.  

Fiscal Impact: Funding is effective 10/1/19-6/30/21 in the grant amount of $782,399.
