Background and Discussion: This transfer will help fund two (2) summer day camps for children aged 7 to 13 who live near the Bayland and Steve Radack ("Radack") Community Centers. These day camps will be situated at the two community centers and will provide comprehensive programming that consists of an eight- to ten-week, full-day, metrics-based summer camp. The programs will enrich, protect, and improve the quality of life for these youth while opening much-needed summer childcare spots in childcare desert areas.
