Background and Discussion:
The E132-00-00 Mitigation project is located in Northwest Harris County in Precinct 3. More specifically, it lies to the Southwest intersection of N Eldridge Parkway and Cypress North Houston Road. E132-00-00 is a HCFCD drainage channel, a tributary of White Oak Bayou (E100-00-00) and serves as one of the outfall systems for the subdivisions of Bernadine Estates, Barwood, Tower Oaks and Tower Oaks Meadows. The scope of work for this utility agreement includes excavation of EMPCo's pipelines, the removal of the lines, capping the lines, and, if necessary, removal of trees as needed. An expected 160 ft of pipe will be removed to ensure the abandoned lines are not in conflict with any future work Harris County would like to conduct. If the lines are discovered to be under the nearby trees EMPCo will need to remove them to access the pipelines. The removal work is being performed to accommodate the widening of the channel.

Expected Impact:
