Background and Discussion:
This change in contract is needed to complete the construction contract for this project. The purpose of this contract change is to adjust pay item quantities to address underestimated riprap quantities required for the original scope of work. The contract change includes an addition of 91 calendar days to account for inclement weather experienced from December 14, 2022, to December 31, 2023.
The main construction features of the project include channel grading, placement of slope paving and rip rap under all roadway bridge crossing structures, and outfall pipe replacements. The project also includes the implementation of recreational features that encompass the placement of bike trails along the main stem and bypass channel as well as around all detention ponds within the project limits.
