Background and Discussion:
The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) is the evaluation partner for Harris County Public Health (HCPH) for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Community Health Workers for COVID Response and Resilient Communities (CCR) grant which runs through August 30, 2024. HCPH passes funds through to UTHealth to support with all evaluation for this grant. The Data Use agreement between UTHealth and HCPH will allow closer collaboration between the two entities within the existing CDC Community Health Worker grant that HCPH receives.

Expected Impact:
The Data Use Agreement will allow further transparency between UTHealth and HCPH which will be critical for efficient programming and data analysis to demonstrate the impact of the work conducted and can support the County with receiving future funds while also strengthening existing strategies or creating additional strategies based on the data analysis. No additional funds will be necessary for this agreement to proceed.
