Background and Discussion:
As part of the development in the area, a traffic impact analysis was conducted and submitted to Harris County Permits for review and approval. The aforementioned performed analysis warranted a traffic signal at the intersection of Holderrieth Road and the Eastern Entrance Driveway, which the developer committed to construct.

Expected Impact:
Approval of the service outlet location statement will allow CenterPoint Energy to provide electrical service to the traffic signal, which is needed to enhance operations of the intersection of Holderrieth Road and the Eastern Entrance Driveway.

Alternative Options:
All Traffic Signals require a power source, which is typically obtained through CenterPoint Energy. Alternative options are to place a generator, which is not reliable, or to not install traffic signals at the intersection. Both options will negatively impact operations and increase delay of the intersection.

Alignment with Goal(s):
_ Justice and Safety
_ Economic Opportunity
_ Housing
