Background and Discussion:
The County engaged Isani Consultants, L.P. to amend their existing contract and provide additional professional engineering services for the design of a stormwater pump station and related site electrical design for the subject project.
Expected Impact:
The addition of the stormwater pump station design will give the County the option of using pumped detention to minimize the footprint impact of the detention pond while still providing adequate mitigation for the roadway improvements.
Alternative Options:
An alternative would be to not add stormwater pump station design, which would limit the detention to gravity only and likely result in a detention facility with a larger footprint and additional property acquisition.
