Background and Discussion:
On May 19, 2020, Commissioners Court approved an agreement between Harris County, Lone Star Housing and Community Development Corporation, and Granada Terrace Apartments, LP for the Granada Terrace Apartments project. On March 8, 2022, May 24, 2022, and August 23, 2022, Commissioners Court approved the first, second, and third amendments that amended the agreement, respectively.

Attached for Commissioners Court approval is the fourth amendment to the agreement. The parties desire to amend said agreement to extend the 18-month construction completion requirement by an additional six (6) months to June 30, 2023, due to labor issues that prevented substantial completion from occurring by December 2022.

Expected Impact:
The expected impact is to extend the construction contract to allow the timely completion of the project.
