Background and Discussion:
The Lauder Stormwater Detention Basin was increased in size to provide a larger stormwater detention basin capacity by increasing the total excavation volume from 526,900 cubic yards to 1,164,400 cubic yards once additional funding was available. This increase results in the estimated construction period from 306 days to 582 days. This increase also requires additional engineering services needed for a larger project. This project scores in the 1st quartile under the 2022 Prioritization Framework approved by Commissioners Court.

Expected Impact:
The increase in total volume of the stormwater detention basin capacity will reduce the frequency of flooding and future flood damages to homeowners.
