Background and Discussion:
Westgate Subdivision Drainage Improvements project is located in Northwest Harris County, approximately 2.5 miles from Highway US-290 north of Cypress North Houston Road, east of N. Eldridge Parkway, and west of Huffmester Road. The scope of this project is to regrade approximately 12,850 linear feet of existing roadside ditches, upsize culverts, replace driveways, and replace the existing roadway throughout the subdivision to the Harris County standard width and depth. Changes approved by the Engineer of Record provides temporary driveways to accommodate the residents need to park their vehicles during construction. New Item include "Temporary Driveway" - $13,600.00, add 10 days.
Expected Impact:
This project seeks to reduce flood risk and strengthen resiliency in Harris County by assisting in the alleviation of structural flood damage to homes in the community.
