Background and Discussion:
The County engaged Isani Consultant, L.P. in 2018, initiated a professional services agreement in 2018, amended the agreement in 2018, 2021, and 2022, and now seeks a new amendment with Isani Consultants, L.P. to facilitate the study and design changes associated with the updated scope requested by the County. Isani Consultants, L.P. is qualified to perform these professional services.
Expected Impact:
This amendment proposes to revise the proposed roadway alignment, revise drainage calculations and report accordingly, add sidewalk along the corridor and a sidewalk connection on both sides of Miramar Lake Boulevard to Calico Canyon Drive. The project will address current and future traffic volumes, reduce delays, and provide safe mobility for residents, pedestrians, and drivers.
Alternative Options:
The alternative would be to not update the roadway alignment and drainage, and to not construct the new sidewalk along the corridor.
