On August 9, 2026, Precinct 4 Transportation will pick up 31 constituents at the YES Camp in Trinity, Texas, and return them to 6588 Corporate Dr., Houston, TX 77036. The trip is being sponsored by the Vietnamese Culture & Science Association.
Expected Impact:
The Youth Empowerment Summit (YES) Camp is organized to address the lack of civic engagement and civic leadership among youths and young adults in Asian American organizations across Houston. The YES Camp is a transformative, 3-day camp that empowers our next generation of leaders in the Greater Houston area. Through collaborative workshops, inspiring talks, and civic engagement training, it equips the next generation to become active participants and leaders in their communities.
