Background and Discussion:
Precinct4Forward is a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing opportunity and justice for the 1.2 million residents of Harris County Precinct 4. This donation will be used to improve Burnett Bayland Park for Harris County residents by enhancing a variety of amenities at the Park.
Expected Impact:
The donation will improve a variety of amenities through Phase 2 of Burnett Bayland Park improvements including, but not limited to, basketball and pickleball courts, outdoor fitness areas, walking trails, and native tree and plants plantings.
Alternative Options:
To not accept the donation and not make the park improvements as Harris County does not have the funds dedicated for this phase.
