Background and Discussion:
An increase to the HCFCD maintenance budget was approved by voters in 2024. The increase will be used to increase flood control infrastructure maintenance and will require new Inspectors, new Project Managers, and new Construction Managers. These HCFCD personnel will be assigned to the Michael Talbott Service Center Administration Building. This project provides parking space for the increased number of personnel vehicles, HCFCD field trucks and HCFCD Pool Vehicles. Approval to use Job Order Contract (JOC) Job No. 230329 for the parking lot expansion construction is requested.
Expected Impact:
This project builds 63 MTSC Admin parking spots for use by new Inspectors, Project Managers, and Construction Managers.
