Background and Discussion:
Adkisson Group is developing a site consisting of four (4) warehouse buildings located on Hufsmith-Kohrville Road, across from Kohrville Elementary School at Woodland Shore Drive. The intersection and storm sewer tie ins to the Hufsmith-Kohrville Road Segment 3A are being incorporated into the Harris County capital project to provide a completed intersection at the time of construction complete. To accommodate a proposed development, as part of the roadway project, requiring installation of a fourth leg traffic signal at Woodland Shore Drive, an eastbound left-turn lane at Woodland Shore Drive, three (3) concrete driveways, two (2) storm sewer manholes and storm pipe, installation of a pedestrian signal pole, ADA-compliant curb ramps, pavement markings and other associated roadway improvements.
