Background and Discussion:
Burnett Bayland Park is in Harris County Precinct 4, on the west side of Houston, within Beltway 8 loop. The park sits at the intersection of Gulfton Street and Chimney Rock Road, bounded by Gulfton Street to the north, Chimney Rock Road to the east, Alder Drive to the west, and an extended park area to the south.
Covering approximately 40 acres, Burnett Bayland Park serves as a signature destination for Precinct 4 and will feature a new community center, event lawn, playground, multi-purpose courts, soccer fields, and additional amenities.
