Background and Discussion:
The initial project scope was to construct a stormwater detention basin and channel conveyance improvements along Jackson Bayou from Ramsey Road to Runnenburg Road per the recommended alternative from the feasibility study. (RPS, 2023). However, when the engineer updated the H&H models from the feasibility model to the latest Jackson Bayou MAAPnext models it was determined there was insufficient mitigation volume to construct the channel conveyance improvements. As part of the alternative analysis, two (2) proposed conditions were evaluated for Phase 1.
