Background and Discussion: Request for approval of a renewal option for Drainage Sediment Removal and Disposal (North) for the Flood Control District for the period of June 1, 2026 - May 31, 2027, at a cost of $1,069,629, subject to applicable bonds to be received. Contract renewal for year 3 (renewal 2) of the Drainage Sediment Removal and Disposal (North) contract. These services will provide support for infrastructure maintenance work that will be executed as a result of the passage of the "Maintenance Matters" Proposition in November 2024.


Expected Impact: HCFCD will use this Term Contact to minimize response times for work repair projects in the northern portion (Precincts 1, 2, 3 & 4) of Harris County.


Alternative Options: No renewal will increase the response time to the work repair projects for reducing flooding within the system.
