Background and Discussion:
East Harris County Empowerment Council (EHCEC) is a subrecipient of the Reproductive Healthcare Access Fund (RHAF) project, which aims to increase outreach, education, and direct utilization of reproductive healthcare services. By increasing service capacity, it is the goal of EHCEC to educate, promote, and connect Harris County community members to reproductive healthcare services within identified target areas. HCPH leadership, in coordination with the ARPA grant financial analyst, has reviewed current spending and forecasted a surplus. As a result, a contract reduction of $55,546 was put into effect due to low expenditure levels.
