Background and Discussion:
Precinct 3 is requesting the Office of the County Engineer to enter into an agreement for professional engineering services to provide the design of an asphalt roadway rehabilitation plan for 4.10 miles of various road in the Atascocita area within Precinct 3. The maintenance repair options include base repair, mill and overlay and other pavement repair options such as hot or cold in place recycling, if recommended by the design team.

Expected Impact:
The maintenance project will improve the road quality for the community in the specified area.

Alternative Options:
Without this project, the roads cannot be maintained properly. The goal is to provide better mobility and/or
eliminate hazards from the roadway as requested by the Precinct.
