Background and Discussion:
On August 11, 2020, Harris County Commissioners Court approved bylaws that reconstituted the Harris County Flood Control District Task Force as the Harris County Community Flood Resilience Task Force (CFRTF). The CFRTF Bylaws specify that an independent facilitator will be hired to support the work of the CFRTF in advising the County on Flood Resilience Efforts. The County's Flood Resilience Plan was kicked off in December 2024.

Expected Impact:
The purpose of this Request for Court action is to approve the renewal option with Outreach Strategists, LLC to continue to facilitate and build capacity for the CFRTF. This is especially critical as the Flood Resilience Plan has kicked off and the CFRTF continues in their key role as the community advisors to this effort.
