Background and Discussion:
The project is to construct waterfront structures, parking lot, boardwalk, trail, lighting and landscape in both Alexander Deussen and Dwight D. Eisenhower Parks. It also includes the construction of a two span, signature pedestrian bridge with parapet panel over West Canal at Aqueduct Road to provide the pedestrian, hike and bike connection between Deussen Park and Eisenhower Park as part of the park trail system. The West Canal pedestrian bridge construction requires CenterPoint Energy to relocate the power poles within Deussen Park for both construction and permanent conditions. These conflict power poles are within the existing utility easement.

Expected Impact:
This action will resolve the conflict condition and provide safe zone during the construction.
