Background and Discussion:
City of Houston announced that it would increase pay to their law enforcement starting in July 2025. The increases would be 10%, 8%, 6%, 6%, 6.5% over the next five years. Commissioners Court requested that OMB provide updates at every commissioners court leading up to the finalized budget in order to be informed of the negogitations with law enforcement officials and the unions.
