Background and Discussion:
This project is for On-call Construction contract for sidewalks throughout Precinct 3. The services requested in this change order is part of extra work that was not included in the original bid items. Since this is a term contract, no increase to the contract value is necessary and it is not expected to surpass the 25% threshold. However, a change in contract is needed to capture the new bid items.
To accommodate this request within the current contract, new bid items are required. The new bid item is only to establish the unit price and there is no change to the contract amount.
