Background and Discussion:
On June 27, 2023, Commissioner's Court approved the advertisement for construction management services for the replacement of the Lynchburg Ferry operations and maintenance building and warehouse. The selected firm will be responsible for providing construction management services including overseeing construction to ensure optimum levels of safety and quality, inspections, construction materials testing, LEED certification, and federal compliance for the new facility. The selected firm will safeguard that work is performed in accordance with the contract documents. Atlas Technical Consultants LLC was identified as the most qualified firm for this project.

This project has received grant funds from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) for construction costs.
