Background and Discussion:
Each year, The HAY Center hosts college tours and pays the wages for youth and young adults to participate in our Summer Jobs program. College tours afford our current and former foster youth and young adults the opportunity to visit and learn about the various colleges and universities that allow for the utilization of their TDFPS Tuition and Fee Waiver. The Summer Jobs program offers first time employment to ensure youth and young adults have some work experience before aging out of foster care.

Expected Impact:
The funding will be used to support The HAY Center Summer Jobs program and college tour expenses.
