Background and Discussion:
The propose of the project is to acquire the property for a proposed stormwater detention basin to mitigate the impacts of increased flows from road improvements in the area through the Cedar Bayou Sub-Regional Stormwater Detention Basin Right-of-Way Acquisition Project. The Flood Control District will purchase the property, while the cost of the property will be shared between the City of Baytown and the Flood Control District, with each party contributing a maximum of $1,550,000, with the total of $3,100,000 toward the acquisition of the property, under the agreement no. 2022-64.
