Background and Discussion:
The Brookglen Stormwater Detention Basin Phase 2 project is located in Harris County Pct. 2 and within the City of La Porte limits. For Phase 2, the proposed south compartment is bounded by B112-00-00 to the west, Ashwyne Lane to the north, CenterPoint Energy Electric's property with high voltage transmission facilities to the east, and a transmission line easement to the south. Based on community feedback, the south compartment is being designed with multiple stormwater detention basin cells to avoid the abandonment of Gladwyne Lane.
