Background and Discussion:
The project is located in the northern portion of Harris County, Texas within the Cypress Creek Watershed. The TC Jester Stormwater Detention Basin is part of the Cypress Creek Watershed Major Tributaries Regional Drainage Plan Update. The project limits include the design and construction of a detention basin, Unit Number K500-23-00, positioned directly West of TC Jester Boulevard. This property is owned and maintained by HCFCD. The objective is to design and construct a regional stormwater detention basin to aid in reducing flood damage, while taking into account environmental and utilities constraints, as well as the values of the community.
