Background and Discussion: At the Harris County Cypress Service Center (aka Cypress Camp), there are several structures which house maintenance equipment/materials for infrastructure throughout Precinct 3. During Beryl, a large tree fell on the existing covered equipment yard structure used for fleet services and housing equipment and materials, destroying it. The structure has since been demolished and removed as it was deemed unstable and unsafe, leaving the equipment exposed to the elements. It is crucial to replace the structure immediately as the fleet vehicles and service trucks have no protection from the elements.

Expected Impact: Extended exposure will have several negative consequences, including damage to paint and finish and degradation of parts. Extreme heat will affect battery performance, electrical components and fluids, causing increased costs in maintenance and decreased lifespan
