Background and Discussion:
On August 23, 2022, Commissioners Court approved an agreement with A Caring Safe Place, Inc. for the CCHP 2.1 Program, which provides rental assistance, case management, and supportive services. These services help individuals develop the skills needed to access essential medical, behavioral health, employment, social, educational, and other services required to meet their basic needs. The pause on the issuance of Housing Choice Vouchers has resulted in the need for additional funding to continue the provision of rental payments.

Expected Impact:
The project budget increases to $1,978,288.00 in ARPA SLFRF to allow ongoing rental assistance and case management/supportive services for homeless persons impacted by COVID-19.
