Background and Discussion:
Harris County Peden Building is a complete renovation located at 600 North San Jacinto Street, modernization
of three hydraulic passenger elevators and installation of new floodproofing. This change in contract entails
costs and credits for extension of the project for the General Contractor of 300 days, repairs to roof drains, credits for the elevator lobby and HVAC test and balancing, and a credit for the installation of vinyl graphics.

Expected Impact:
This change in contract covers the extension of the project by 10 months that was caused by the delay of delivery of air handling units. These specific air handling units, which the General Contractor requested to change with an alternative that may have shipped earlier, were required by the county to keep with specifications. The credits were for work that were returned to and will be completed by the Harris County Engineering Department's Special Projects team.
