Background and Discussion:
This Interlocal Agreement will allow the Flood Control District to share costs with the Houston-Galveston Area Council (H-GAC) for data from DataAxle, 2024 aerials captured by Surdex for H-GAC, and STAR*Map data updated by H-GAC with data from CenterPoint. The data from DataAxle will provide information to the Flood Control District about businesses and residents with the County, such as number of employees, languages spoken, etc. The STAR*Map data will allow the Flood Control District to continue to receive transportation data in the H-GAC area providing an accurate road map that can be used as a location reference and as a source that can be used with the Flood Control Districts GIS software to map the location of addresses. The 2024 aerials will provide imagery for the County and surrounding Counties.

Expected Impact:
This agreement will allow the Flood Control District to have access to current data for the purposes of both mapping and analysis.
