Background and Discussion:
This project is for a cost sharing interlocal agreement between Cornerstones Municipal Utility District and Harris County Precinct 4 in connection with Sidewalk - South Mason from Kingsland Blvd to County Line. The proposed project was initially presented to Cornerstones Municipal District in which they agreed to a 40% cost share, with Harris County Precinct 4 funding the remaining 60%.
Expected Impact:
This project will provide safe accessibility and increase walkability.
Alternative Options:
Commissioners’ Court may decline the request; however, Precinct 4 will have to fund this project fully and will have to dedicate staff and additional resources, which will cause delay.
