Background and Discussion:

The BGE On-Call was approved by court on 7/18/2023 for Professional Engineering and Planning Services within Harris County Precinct. The On-Call contract was executed with one MWDBE sub-consultant to perform geotechnical services. To maximize the potential services of the contract and ensure the contracted MWDBE goal of 20% is met, two additional sub-consultants are being added to the contract.

 

Expected Impact:

The impact of this amendment is to ensure that the MWDBE goal is met with the guidance of DEEO while also diversify the available services of the contract. 

 

Alternative Options:

If sub-consultant additions are not met, the MWDBE goal is at risk of not being met for planned projects.
