Background and Discussion:
This project consists of a renewable thermoplastic striping (Type I material) contract for various roads in Precinct 4. The work includes but is not limited to thermoplastic striping, pavement markings, raised reflectorized markers, shoulder blading, and traffic control. The work also includes the pavement markings for adjacent intersections with major thoroughfare roads.
The overrun is due to Precinct 4 request for additional of roads to be marked for the safety of the users and residents of Harris County.

22037 LF x $.75/LF = $16,527.75
Item #12 Reflectorized pavement markings type I (thermoplastic) 8" white/solid - furnish & applied:
473.13 LF x $1.50 = $709.70
Total Amount = $16,527.75 + $709.70 = $17,237.45

Expected Impact:
Change allows to have funds available so contractor can be compensated for their mowing activities completed within Katy Zone, Precinct 4.
