Background and Discussion:
This funding will support all aspects of TAG Center operation from September 1, 2024 through August 31, 2025. This grant has no statutory cash match requirements and will require no local discretionary funding.
Expected Impact:
This grant is used to fund TAG Center operations along with supplies, equipment and software expenses to be utilized by HCSO and partnering agencies for the purpose of investigating gang related crimes in this region.
Alternative Options:
If we do not apply for this grant, the Houston TAG will not be funded for the upcoming year.
