Background and Discussion:
To provide a turnkey License Plate Reader (LPR) and sound detection system that shall enhance public safety for Harris County residents. The sound detection system is capable of detecting various sounds including gunshots, screeching tires and glass breaking in order to respond to illegal activity.
Expected Impact:
Setup LPR and sound detection system at thirty (30) Precinct 2 locations within the Cloverleaf area in east Houston.
