Commissioners Court approved the construction of a new Jevenile Vocational Training Center on 6/27/2023. The new facility aims to improve the environments in which both youth and staff are exposed to at the Harris County Juvenile Detention Center, Harris County Leadership Academy, Harris County Youth Village, and remote facility school sites.
