Background and Discussion:

The County wishes to execute an agreement with Civitas Engineering Group, Inc <https://app.e-builder.net/da2/Projects/ProjectDetails.aspx?PortalID=%7b8d42e1dd-6a29-444b-876d-4e399e323495%7d>. to conduct study and design services for a Hike and Bike Trail at Flood Control’s South Belt Detention Basin. The improvements will include approximately 8,574 linear feet of 10-foot-wide Trail, along the top bank of the basin and a parking lot with a minimum of thirty spaces, along the South Canyon Drive entrance.

 

Expected Impact:

The project will provide alternative options for park, school and neighborhood pedestrian and bicycle mobility and connectivity.
