Expected Impact:
Harris County is seeking to secure services of a qualified and experienced vendor for the provision
and maintenance of a standalone electronic citation system utilizing handheld technology, to be utilized for
the issuance of citations by personnel of HCLE agencies.
Alternative Options:
The electronic citation system shall provide an automated way of filling out and issuing citations,
allowing for a reduction in the time required for a deputy to issue a citation, increasing the legibility of
completed citation forms, reduce the administrative errors associated with processing, capture of
electronic signatures and capture of various images.
