Background and Discussion:
On March 26, 2024, Commissioners Court approved the revised County Resolutions to include amended term dates for seven of the Texans Feeding Texans subrecipients for the expenditure terms to begin February 1, 2024, and end on January 31, 2025. On two of the County Resolutions there were clerical errors that now need to be revised. Bay Area Meals on Wheels has a corrected amount of county matching funds of $1,954 and Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center includes their entire name.
Expected Impact:
The Harris County Community Services Department seeks approval to revise two (2) County Resolutions to correct clerical errors on the Resolutions. The revised resolutions will allow Bay Area Meals on Wheels and Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center the ability to expend funds during the term of February 1, 2024 through January 31, 2025.
Alternative Options:
There are no alternatives. Subrecipients will not receive their TDA funding for FY2025, if FY2024 the Resolutions are not revised to include corrected amounts and names.
